Sara was off to the UK at the last moment to ship her daughter back to uni. Time is flying by as she heads back for her second year.

1 in 3 people are in this situation. Family dynamics have a strong pull and easily slip into the same family roles. It's a complicated business. So many people feel shame when they are detached from their family, it triggers feelings of self-judgement and negative self-talk.

Labour day is over, schools are back and the routine begins. Sara has said news as the Queen has passed away. The country is in a state of mourning. 
She worked right up to the end and was a great head of the country. Changes are ahead as the new King is sworn in. It's sad to see the end of her reign.

Hot Topic - Is there room for mistakes in your relationship?
 
Do you give your partner some leeway or are they expected to be perfect? This feels uber-heavy to have to be perfect! So many relationships have high expectations of their partner. There's a flashback to confession time, how much time would you spend in your relationship confession box ........ not sure I want to think about this! 
 
Can you show grace to your partner, do you judge? How could you be free from this? 
 
Question of the week - "I feel lost and alone, my husband just doesn't understand. He asks me what's wrong and then dismisses my answer. I'm no longer attracted to him because he dismisses me. He's a good dad and a hard-working man but we need help. He's refusing to go to therapy. I'm stuck!!"
 
Both parties are feeling down in this situation, their needs aren't being met and they are struggling to communicate and share how they are feeling. Who hasn't been in this situation? 
 
There are some great tips on how to explore needs in your relationship. Get ready to take notes! It's common to feel disconnected and not on the same page as your partner.

It's Labour day in Canada and the fighter jets are out. Jersey will soon be hot on the heels as they have their international air show too. Whoop whoop to the fighter jets and red arrows this week.

Cheers to the week! Anna is struggling from paddleboarding and has been in trouble again, this time with a different set of officers! Sara is back from rocky out to Coldplay at Wembly Arena. With a cameo from Craig David. The girls were living it up this week.

2nd Anniversary!!!!
The girls are feeling a mixture of nerves, excitement and sickness all at the same time. It's been 2 years the girls have lasted more than most relationships do.
They've been through a lot! Emotional times, at least three waves of the pandemic, war breaking out, inflation, the cost of living rising, personal tragedy and relationship issues of their own.
Not to mention Anna's been in several countries, states and continents even choosing to record in some of them! 
 
They have survived, entertained and have a much deeper knowledge of each other, as do we! There have been some great stories shared. 
 
To mark their second anniversary they are recording a special edition. There is no news, hot topic or question. What are you doing to us!!!!!
